Commercial brake service and repair.
Brakes are the fastest way to fail a roadside inspection and the most expensive thing to ignore. We measure, adjust and replace on site, and we write down what we found.
Shoes, drums, chambers and slack adjusters — mobile.
Air brake work on site
Shoe and drum replacement, brake chambers, slack adjusters, s-cam bushings, air lines and valves. Pushrod stroke measured and adjusted to spec rather than eyeballed.
Trailer brakes too
Including the trailers people forget have brakes at all — lowboys, goosenecks, dumps and equipment trailers with electric or air systems that have not been looked at since they were bought.
Out-of-service before the inspection finds it
A brake out of adjustment is one of the most common out-of-service violations at a Texas inspection site. We measure stroke on every axle when we are already under the truck for something else, and tell you what is close to the line.
What we write down
Measurements before and after, part numbers, and photographs go on the ticket. That is the paperwork that matters when a truck gets pulled in and asked when the brakes were last touched.

Brake services — questions
Can you do a full brake job at the roadside?
Some of it. Chambers, slack adjusters and adjustment are roadside work. A full shoe and drum replacement is better done in a yard where the truck can sit safely — we do that on site too, just not on a shoulder.
Do you do DOT inspections?
Are you a certified DOT annual inspector? If not, say what you do instead.
